It’s Time to Run
This video was made for Appalachian State University’s Student Government Association Instagram in 2022. At this point, Meta had been prioritizing video based content, so I decided to play to our strengths as well as our target audience in order to make eye-catching, trendy and meaningful content.
A Message from Administration
Following the destruction of buildings and artwork on the Appalachian State University campus, I quickly constructed a message to put on to Student Government Association social media pages. The message was crafted quickly in response to student concern for the accountability of those involved, and as a result the post gained over five times the normal engagement and support.
Chat Box
It all begins with an idea.
This was a simple post made with Canva that guided Instagram users to a chat box in our bio to allow them to ask questions, give suggestions and more! The call to action post allowed for more engagement while also taking a significant amount of creative pressure off of our staff as we were able to hear from followers about what they wanted to see most across our platform.
